the gender of temperament

The T-JTA test (see image below if you're forgetful) leans towards gender conformity, meaning men (referring to the biological sex) must be masculine, aggressive and extroverted, while women (same) must be feminine, gentle and introverted.

(tl;dr) Popenoe is situated on traditional M-F relationship

Lewis Terman. Remember him? Probably not. It's Ok.

I know what you're thinking, I think he's pretty douchey, too. Probably up to no good.

quick bio run:

  • American psychologist and author

  • eugenicist, member of the Human Betterment Foundation

  • believed IQ is heritable (#not)

  • Terman proposed using IQ tests to classify children and put them on the appropriate job-track.

some examples of diagnosis and treatment course

case 1: a woman from Canada

  • problem: can't find a husband to procreate

  • testimony: become more afraid, lonely, heart-hungry

  • diagnosis: hypercritical, depressive, cold, aggressive

  • treatment: counseling sheets to work on her deficiencies

case 2: ms. M from Chicago

  • position: advertising agent, successful career

  • testimony: n/A

  • diagnosis: “...Aggressive is also unusually high... higher than 92% of all women.” Gender distortion

  • treatment: emulate her intrinsic sex-gender id. Channel her aggressiveness into feminine behavior(?)

  • problem: uninhibited and handsome woman, strong looking, capable and expressive hands

  • diagnosis: possible frigidity, unmaternal, prone to puerile crushes, and rarely reaches orgasm.

  • treatment: given several, unspecified, AIFR pamphlets

case 3: mrs. P
